SportsBetting.com Launches in Colorado

The appropriately named SportsBetting.com has launched its sportsbook in Colorado, the first U.S. market for the European sports betting and iGaming platform.

Locally, SportsBetting.com and its parent company the Carousel Group is partnered with Johnny Nolon’s Casino in Cripple Creek. No app is available yet, but the website is fully up and running and taking wagers from CO sports bettors right now.

A Johnny Nolon’s representative reached by phone said the casino has a self-service kiosk on the gaming floor, but no manned windows are planned as of yet.

SportsBetting.Com Colorado Bonus Info

Most sportsbooks offer some sort of welcome bonus, and SportsBetting.com’s is a bit different than most. Rather than offering a single risk-free bet, the platform offers new players an entire week of risk-free betting, refunding you on any lost bets placed in your first week up to a total of $500.

They also offer a Colorado-specific promo they’re calling First Touchdown Insurance. Any bet of $5 or more on the first player to score a touchdown in the upcoming Broncos @ Steelers game will be refunded up to $100 if the bet loses but your player scores a touchdown.

Of course, as with any sports betting promo or bonus, terms and conditions apply. Visit SportsBetting.com for full details.

What Sports Are Available To Bet On?

The SportsBetting.com website is replete with options, from those you’d expect like basketball, baseball, hockey, football, and soccer, to more obscure leagues like rugby, Gaelic football and Gaelic hurling.

SportsBetting.com is the 15th Colorado sportsbook to launch so far, the news coming at the end of a week that also saw Betfred and William Hill launch their apps. At Thursday’s Colorado Limited Gaming Commission meeting, Colorado Division of Gaming Director Dan Hartman indicated that the number of sports betting operators in the state could grow from 15 currently to as many as 26 or more by year’s end.

SportsBetting.com is joining a thriving and competitive market, so it will be interesting to watch how it competes.
