BetMGM Sportsbook Announces Skin Deal with Midnight Rose

Colorado officially became the 18th state to legalize sports betting locally, with the first sports wagers being placed on May 1, 2020. As the state gears up for an influx of legal betters into the market, BetMGM has announced an exclusive primary skin contract with Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino. This agreement allows the BetMGM sportsbook, headed by ROAR Digital (a joint venture between GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts), to operate at Cripple Creek gaming and hospitality property.

“We look forward to offering Colorado sports fans the excitement and ease of betting with BetMGM and working alongside Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino to provide top class betting experiences in the state of Colorado,” said Adam Greenblatt, CEO of ROAR Digital.  “With a limited sports schedule currently, it’s the perfect time for new customers to learn how to use our feature-rich sports wagering product, ahead of the return of U.S. sports.”

BetMGM currently operates in New Jersey, Mississippi, Nevada, Indiana, West Virginia, and Michigan, occasionally offering online poker and casino games, where legally allowed. The sportsbook recently inked a groundbreaking partnership with the National Lacrosse League making BetMGM the first-ever gaming partner for the sport of lacrosse in the US.

“We are excited to announce this exclusive partnership with ROAR Digital to bring world-class sports wagering to Colorado,” Larry Hill, CEO of Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino, said.

The partnership, announced May 4, 2020, comes just a few days after competitors BetRivers, DraftKings, and FanDuel enter the Colorado market with their sportsbook offerings. The platform will also look to utilize its current agreements with Yahoo Sports and Buffalo Wild Wings to increase its brand recognition within the market.

Despite current casino closures due to COVID-19 concerns, BetMGM is currently accepting sports wagers on its online and mobile platforms. The BetMGM Colorado sportsbook is available for download on iOS and Android devices on the App Store and Google Play Store.
